• Receives and controls the goods, stores them and distributes then to the Departments as per their store requisitions. • Receives the goods and checks the quantity, quality and correctness quantity according to the delivery checks and the orders. Quality (ok) will be checked upon by the concerned Department which made the purchase requisition. • Store all goods in such a way that they can be easily found that the (FEFO) first expiry first out /Average Weighted Method procedure can be applied. • Deliver the goods to the concerned Departments according to the store requisitions. • Inform the Purchasing Department for order to be placed according to the needs and the stock status. • Make the food and beverage inventory with the cooperation of Food and Beverage Cost Controller, and also responsible for the inventory of general stores items. • Responsible for the cleanliness of the stores and the good storage of the goods as well as the empty cases. • Responsible for applying all administrative procedures related to the receiving or issuing of goods. • The Goal will be to minimize the cost of stocks, and proper control and a correct keeping of all documents. • Maintain good relationship with all Departments in the Hotel. • Receive all goods and food and beverage according to the standards established by the hotel, based on purchase order and or market list. • Check all deliveries for quality, quantity, price, box weight and expiry for food and beverage items. • Notify the relevant departments of receipt of goods and to arrange for their collection. • Prepare daily receiving reports for all goods received in the system. • Guarantee that the cooling chain during transport, delivery, storage and final destination is not broken (including but not limited to a check of the temperatures of the delivery truck, the storage facilities, etc.) maintaining at all times the necessary documents. • Keep the receiving area clean as per the hotel standard. • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position. • Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety. • Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately. Understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations
