Provide primary customer service support to Ridge Tool distributors, dealers and customers in Japan. Agents will respond to inbound calls, faxes and emails. Lastly, ensures that the information given to our customers is timely and accurate. Over time responsibility for making outbound calls may be added.


Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , any field.

Fluent in Japanese (spoken and written)

Acclimated in Japanese Culture

Customer Orientation

Strong Team Effort mentality.

Interpersonal/Communication Skills

Communication and trouble shooting skills as well as a conscientious attitude.

High tolerance to stress and a self-starter.

PC or related skills a must

Excellent organization skills

Excellent interpersonal skills a must

Time management skills

Must have knowledge and be able to comply with all internal policies.

Resolve Internal and External customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

Strong knowledge of relevant aspects of the service being provided

Knowledge of computer systems and experience in data entry a plus.

Ability to perform all duties with the least amount of supervision.

Knowledge in Excel and MS Outlook

High mechanical aptitude- appreciates and understands tools

Experienced in customer service functions

Self starter who is able to work independently

Disciplined and organized – able to follow-up with a desire foraccuracy

Must be able to develop improvement strategies around his/her overallresponsibilities

Ability to prioritize workload and complete multiple tasks in a predetermined time frame.
