Roles and responsibilities:

• Managing incoming support requests related to the Telco enterprise software application (by email and systems)
• Analysis and diagnosis of telecommunication related billing queries reported via Telco call centre care staff
• Extraction of data from the relational database systems using MS • Access/SQL and analysis of the data for general diagnosis.
• Assigning support tasks to relevant software development team member and tracking progress
• Maintenance and analysis of Excel spreadsheet data, reporting metrics to Australian head office
• Analysis and maintenance of database pricing structures to ensure information is recorded accurately.
• Conducting quality assurance review of system generated data prior to distribution to customers
• Daily Analysis of telecommunication call records
• Liaising with senior executives (customers) for coordination of mission critical business processes
• Ensuring large volume (telco) bulk, rating, tariffing and billing system processes are scheduled and completed on-time
• Adds, moves and changes to user profiles, including UNIX and windows
• Managing the transfer of files via FTP

Skill set:

• Experience using SQL and Relational Database Systems
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in any form of financial data analysis
• Excellent written & verbal communication (Of utmost importance is clear, well spoken telephone manner, concise email communication skills and ability to comprehend Australian communication from customers and management)
• Experience working for foreign company where • English is main language (eg; Australian, US, UK, Canada)
• Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks in order to meet SLAs.
• Ability to work autonomously and report directly to your team leader
• Methodical approach to problem solving and multi-tasking.
• Intermediate MS Excel skill level
• General understanding of computer networking (integrated environment with windows, UNIX)
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred, specifically in billing systems.
• Experience working in a support team for a software company
• Advanced SQL Knowledge
• Experience with Unix and Microsoft operating environments
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree ina field that demonstrates a strong analytical mind and ability to competently use a variety of software technologies, eg Computer Science/ IT, Engineering (Computer), Finance and Marketing, Mathematics or Business Studies/Administration/Management
