ABOUT THE POSITION:

A Logistics Technology Company, leading the way in the field of shipping technology is seeking for a Software Development Delivery Manager. To ensure the effective and efficient management of all aspects of software delivery, and improve outcomes for clients. Establishes policies designed to ensure consistently high service performance, monitors employees and evaluates customer feedback to develop quality improvement processes.The goal of establishing uniform processes and procedures and to ensure that each customer gets the same experience from the onset of contact.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directly Report to the Head of Operations
- Provides overall management of the delivery team including resource allocation and utilization, forecasting and budget for projects, while monitoring KPIs & performance.
- Holds all departments and employees accountable for carrying out the required processes and tasks.
-To constantly assess stakeholder feedback and make necessary improvements.
- Work to continually improve, refine, and champion project delivery methodology and procedures
- Identifying and analyzing the issues, and can work on eliminating bottlenecks.
- Ensure projects are done according to quality standards and documented procedures to achieve successful delivery of implementation engagements
- Must be able to manage several teams and is responsible for high complexity and ambiguity.
- Manage project delivery using an evidence informed approach to improve outcomes for stakeholders.
- Resolve project delivery issues, mitigate risks, and escalate as needed
- Ensure project related documentation is accurate and kept up-to-date at all times.
- Ensure quality of practice meets contractual requirements, legal obligations and organizational policy and procedures.
- Coordinate and participate in monitoring, review and auditing processes related to project delivery.
- Identify and elevate issues impacting on achievement of project objectives and to continually improve workflow.
- Implement relevant and meaningful processes to meet client expectations.
- Provide an effective on-call response service, as appropriate, supplemented by appropriately qualified team members as required.
- Manage Engagements ensuring delivery Effectiveness & Excellence
- Periodically report to management team on targets, status of projects, resource requirements.’
- Evaluate performance of employees under the delivery team.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Technology field or any related discipline.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, clients, and colleagues
- Experience with project management and implementing IT Solutions
- Strong hardware and software knowledge and experience required
- Strong analytical skills and customer service abilities
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required
- 5+ years of IT or Business Technical experience
- 5+ years of experience collaborating IT solutions or business development with increasing responsibility
- 5+ years of People Management Experience

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Proven leadership ability. Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities and comfort with ambiguity.
- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to serve as a catalyst for change in the company.
- Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
- Excellent delegation, negotiation and strong people management skills
- Plan Workload for Service Management and Projects
- Manage Communication & Escalation - Manage Risks & Issues
- Third Party Management, Process Implementation/ Adherence/Continuous Improvement - Regular Month end reporting - Measure various metrics (process, tools, client satisfaction etc.)
- Becomes a point of escalation for customer/delivery issues and for service towers regarding client issues / opportunities / contractual obligations.
